I have a Deliverance 4x12 with P50E and a cab here with K85 (same as K100). They are pretty different sounding speakers.

What I get from my Deliverance 4x12 my other cabs don't do is the amount of definition and clarity. I have not heard this kind of focused bass from any other cab.

Is your k100 cab front loaded ? Cause the Fryette’s are and that makes a big difference, in my experience.
The k100 in a front load gives so much more focus in the bass, and control, than any others I’ve tried.

Yes. My current cab is front loaded. I have owned several cabs with these speakers more than thirty years. It's one of my favorite speakers.
The P50E doesn't sound like any Celestion speakers I have heard. Too be honest I don't know of any speaker that is similar. It's bass heavy and clear. Closer to a EVM12L than a Celestion.

Anyone know a speaker that is similar sounding to the P50E ?

It's more than the speakers... it's a lot to do with the Deliverance cab and the way it's tuned using the V-BRACE Technology. I see they are using this bracing I the Sound City cabs also.

I always see new topics on Fryette/VHT posted every now and then.... i be also recieving my D120H masterbuild after getting a confirmation on the amp being due for shipping....

But will the op kindly run me thru what is expected of for this D120H masterbuild ? Other than the switchable loops added on ? And am i expecting a footswitch coming along with this amp considering its a notch higher priced than a regular D120H ?

No fs. The masterbuild has the loop and loop switches included, and is built by the head engineer from start to finish.

Cool thanks for info :)

on the current Masterbuilt run the More/Less switch is also accessible via a footswitch.

Are you referring to the deliverance cab with p50e’s?
I’ve heard they are a love/hate speaker, but never tried them.
Your description sounds like what my k100 front load cab sounds like.
(I’ve started really liking that cab with my d120.)
Deep, punching bass that surrounds you but is controlled and tight.
Are the p50e’s anything like the k100?
There is a d cab for sale local to me but from the vht era. With p50e’s.
A buddy who’s ear I trust hates the p50e, is what’s holding me back.
Loves the fane loaded Fryette.
The thing with the P50E speakers is they need to be seriously broken in before any judgement can be made on them. I think a lot of cats get 412 cabs and are only playing Madison Square Bedroom, which is fine, but the P50E aren't even moving until air starts getting pushed hard; and then you need many hours of that action to get them to sweeten up. Do I like P50E...?? They're IMHO amp specific - sometimes they work gloriously, sometimes they didn't. But the thing that *really* gets me about the D412 (in particular) is how adaptable it is to other speakers. I've got some loaded with the Cantrell special (V30 bottom, G25 top), K100s, V30s, etc. They're just amazingly versatile cabs - all front loaded - and the power they put forth is undeniable. They just don't give in - they're solid. Funny thing is?? They're pretty light to move around compared to, say, an UberKab or Diezel (MIG) cab. Another two of my faves. But the D412 is awesome with the P50E's depending on the amp and also making sure they're properly softened up with solid, hard-hitting use. If the cones don't jive with you? No sweat, plunk your faves into it and the likelihood of them sounding amazing is 99%

Dope ass cabs - period.

It was a joke. I thought that would have been self evident. It's all good.
100% solid Bro... I have seen so many cats go the FB route only to end up getting the D412 instead. I think the description needs to be revised on the website, because seriously?? The Deliverance cab just explodes. The FB while amazing, is very very focused and beamy. And like I said - no dis to Steve and his wares, but I've had the FB woof and flub - the D412, never.

Peace and Powerchords!!

I completely agree. I have V30s in my FB cab and it is by far my tightest sounding cab.

It’s a cool amp, and very evil voice. Cool yours made it.
No mine did not come with footswitchable more/less, I think you had to ask for it and it cost more, I don’t need it so it wasn’t a big deal.
(I just emailed them about it, so I’ll post back)
No slip cover, only company I’ve ever gotten a slip cover included was Mesa.
Why, did you get one?
