Here's a spreadsheet that somone on the Kemper forum made of all the stock profiles/amps included.

charging doesnt seem that bad of a thing to me honestly.

People trade, so I guess if your one who doesnt have any trades to offer, a sale is adequite.

Yeah not bad..........I wish it was rack mountable.....but..........I don't haul my Axe-FX around anyway.....that abuse is delegated to my POD H 500....... :D

FYI the Axe-FX crew is saying they are adding profiling to Axe as well in the upcoming patches.

Wonder how they will stack up....We need a shootout

Oh man now I'm gas'ing for one! Like others, I'll wait for the rackmount version.

Yea, I heard Cliff claimed that. I'll believe it when I see it. He is worse than Microsoft with vaporware. His midi foot controller was delivered 2 years after promised.

After a week jamming the Kemper I'm digging it even more. So easy to dial in cool sounds, and there are tons of great tones in the stock profiles. I have been having so much fun, I haven't even profiled my amps or downloaded any user profiles either. But that's next!

holy crap there are some killer user ones up now. Def go check it out. some ones I will never use or I don't think sound good but some are amazing. there is a killer legacy profiles up that just kill, as well as dual recs etc. I am addicted to downloading porn, or I mean profiles. they just keep coming

I wish you guys would stop it, it'll be at least two weeks before I get mine :)

And like a Glock, it's got lots of what it needs, and not much else.

and THAT, kiddies, is the best thing i have read about the kemper so far. thanks for that.

i dont need a thousand effects and parameters. i want 50 GREAT high gain amps, that all sound way close to the intended amp. looks like that's gonna happen soon.

Thats the thing for me, when micd right, it is the same amp, its not an aproximation you know, it sounds like the amp really would, through that particulair cab etc. I never felt that the axe was accurate, they were approximations. where as the kemper is much more like the real thing. I just hope when Ola releases his profiles that he takes other guitars and settings into consideration. he has a way of making everything sound the same, and the first profile didn't really mesh with my guitar.

Selling profiles irks me. It kinda feels like you're making a profit off of the modeled amps' original designers.

I agree - the whole sharing community of KPA users is what is great. Selling profiles is like being a whore in the land of free sex. Availability of exotic profiles right now is what creates the market.

But I think the reign of profile sellers will be short lived. Once the KPA has been out for a while longer, there will be so many profiles available for free, that no one will need to buy one.

I can't even see how someone could do that and think that they are going to make money given the fact that once some poor sap decides to buy them and get's pissed they will more then likely show up on someones website for free lol

It's more then likely a short lived idea because once more free profiles come out, Im not so sure that anyone would be stupid enough to pay for profiles, that is unless the guy has a really obscure amp.

The thing that put me off this profiling deal is when you create a profile the cabinet is "baked" into the patch. Not being able to switch out the cabinet is a huge factor. That said though, if a patch sounds good, it's good. I see the modeling approach having the edge because of the IR feature.

Why? A guy as money invested in nice sounding amps amps and speakers plus great gear to record. Also he has spent a lot of time learning to record guitars right. So it makes him an ass for asking to be compensated for his access to good gear, experience and time? You mean to tell me if Bob Rock put out profiles using his experience and gear... you'd expect him to just give those away? Bullshit.

Sell em. If they are really good people will choose buy them or not.

I find it odd guys are bitching about this now but have no problem paying for RedWires and OwnHamers IR's.

You make a good point. Id see shelling out some coin if a pro like Bob Rock did it but id be hesitant to shell out any money to just some guy :)

I'm pretty sure that you can change cabs if you wanted to. I even thing there is a way to profile just the preamp section of an amp and then chose a cab internally but I could be wrong.

Well just "some guys" put out Redwire and OwnHammer IRs and people shelled out dough for those because they thought they were worth it. :D
