I dont know how to post clips but most of you wouldn’t want to hear my sloppyness anyway lol. I have to say this Scalpel is amazing. Reminds me a of Cameron Atomica. Not sure if any shared dna there or not. But i will say Lickliter does a fine job and i’m beyond impressed.

Its amazing. And i have never heard a high gain amp retain the punch and clarity and mid snarl like this does at below conversation level volume. Thats great for when my family is asleep and i want to play late at night. But when i can play at volume its mindblowing to me.

Its hard to explain but its almost like a 2nd gain knob. But also makes it thinner or thicker sounding. Im not the best at describing what i hear but it certainly helps shaping the sound

I can see that. I'm thinking ENGL because it sounds tight and focused but not quite the signature ENGL compression. I've heard it as compressed similar to ENGL, but more dynamic.

Im not too familiar with engl. Never have paid much attention to them for some reason
i know many love them though. I do love the Lickliter though and so glad i came across it
