Any build quality, breakdown issue with these amps ??? I have heard some not so good things about Marshall;s quality control recently and was wondering if this has filtered down to the VM??

I've had two 2466s. No issues at all.

Congrats! Which one did you get? I see there are a few different head models in 100 watts.

The Vintage Modern is misunderstood. It is not a metal amp, if you want raunchy rock and roll it kills, I run a Les Paul Custom 57 VOS & boost it with a Keeley SD-1 and it delivers the goods.

My mistake. I searched 'Marshall Vintage Modern' and a lot of JVM210/410 links came up. The 2466 looks more like what I was expecting.
