NAD: Mesa/Boogie DC-5

Picked up a DC-5 for a great price the other day. I think it's awesome. Smoother than my .50 Caliber + and darker than the Mark III I had and just sounds awesome. The cleans probably aren't as good as my .50 Caliber + but I haven't messed around with it too much yet. I'd recommend one of these if you can find one!

Congrats!! One of my favorite Boogies!,,I had a combo way back when they first came out , and I was the first dude in my area to have a Boogie and we were all just floored by it! They def rock and are a loud 50 watts!! HNAD!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just really impressed. My .50 Caliber + gets me angry sometimes as it sounds harsh on occasion but this is so smooth and just sounds awesome no matter what. Easy to dial in too.

I had the head version and a 1x12 combo in gator tolex. Cool amp, it's a bit on the dark side and I noticed a lot of guitars through it sounded a bit similar. But it's overall easy to dial, smooth, and heavy sounding.

Probably going to keep it. It sounds different enough probably. I need to compare more to say for sure.

Killer amps. Used one for a couple years. Love the boost option on the factory pedal. If I recall correctly, a volume mod was required.
