After a lot of researching I picked the Mesa Triple Crown. Everything seemed right to me, from the wattage, weight and sounds I heard people getting from it.
I got about an hour with it, mainly hooking it up and making sure everything functions. I used my RK Tele.
This is an instant gratification Boogie. No endless knob tweaking needed. I found excellent sounds on each channel. Used my Jubilee (V-30) 4x12 and can't wait to hear it thru the Vintage Modern (Greenbacks) cab.
It strikes me as a cross of Mark and Recto. Not alot of switches and modes to have to fuck with. Clips soon.

i'm shocked....thought you would get a 4 or 5 for sure. welcome to the dark side....mesa fuckin rulz......

Congrats! Lots of different tones available with that amp for sure. Looking forward to clips.

I had a Mark V a few years ago. Great amp but some of the modes were useless to me. Liked the JP-2C but alot of $$$, and I don't need a dead-clean channel. I was actually contemplating a Dual Recto.

Congrats. This one has me looking hard at it as well.

i would love to hear you on a rec...

I'm sure it'll sound great as good as you play! Looking forward to the clips.

With how much you like Hendrix and Trower... I would have thought you would have gone with a Mark series amp.

Any who... enjoy it.

I'd like to see you rock a Recto though. The 2nd channel vintage mode would be up your alley.

This thing, IMO, is a mix of Recto and Mark. The best of both worlds. This amp is killer for Hendrix/ Trower wailing.

Definitely. It's a mix of the two. Good move for Mesa. I'm curious to hear some Hendrix thru this amp. You definitely nail some great Hendrix tone/feel with your playing. I'd like to see how this amp handles it.

Yeah a lot easier to tweak than the Mark series if you're not normally a Mark series user. The Electra Dyne and Royal Atlantic were both nice amps but lacked the features this amp has, and FINALLY MIDI. It also has a great master volume.

Nice. I just got an rk tele as well. Great guitars!
