 Congrats Tony......Nick is the best at spotting guitars and amps for a guy, I have ever known. So I am not shocked your deal turned out this way. It works for me the same way every time I make a deal with Nick. Nick got me the plexi I had Jerry at FJA mod last year. :)

Nicks Great!

I got the amp from out in LA... Great condition for a good price!

I knew I wanted a Clapton Strat cause a friend of mine that does not really play bought one and I set it up for him... I was amazed at the way it played and sounded so it intriqued me.

Nick had an Artist version, and a Custom Shop at another store, and got the Custom shop sent down for me to audition can compare... That was priceless having both. It turned out the Artist one he had was an Exceptional one... After comparing with the Custom Shop I knew it was the ONE!

After I set up the Action, and intonated it... It's just a Katana Sword... Deadly and comfortable as an old tee shirt!

I Love it!

That head is tits!!!!

Guitar?? :dunno: Can't play 'em to save my life, but hey, she sure looks beautiful

So what's up, your jam space is in a gym, or your gym is in a jam space?? Lots of freeweights in the background.

Regardless, mega CONGRATS!!!

V.

Hey Thanks!, Meant to answer this... No The Jam space isn't the gym, but I keep all the guitars stored in there because I keep it Humidity & temperature controled 24/7 365... 70F. 40% Humidity. I keep wireless transmitters in at least 5 guitars monitored from a central unit, and have had great results, My necks never need adjustment!

The Jam Space is the Garage which is Heated... We have BBQ's Spring, Summer, Fall, and have some cool guys come over to Jam...

A Blast!

Cool, man!

I played a Marsha with the BE and SAT on it and it was fucking sick. IMO, it could easily do modern metal, and I am a tight low end freak like no other.

Killer...

I wouldn't dispute you! You're a great player... I've heard your stuff... BUT you have to read my Exceptions in the Critique. Really Weird Tubes That I don't know, and unformed Caps.

Nick Tells me those tubes have a WOOLY bottom end... FLUBBY, so yeah for speed metal that would account for it not being Ideal!

Right on, man! I wasn't disputing you, my man. Just saying that the Marsha I played could do it. I totally understand the variables in your amp. Sounds like it is a killer all the way around. Congrats again!

HEY!!!

I just wanted to say... This is the Greatest Place on the Net, and I wouldn't have felt right about getting this stuff without sharing the expierience with the Rig Talk Family!

Cause That's what this place is, an extended family where we all share love and passion about our tone! and axes...

We might have a difference of opinion on what's good or bad sometimes but we all have the passion to sit there and Tweak, and try different tubes, cords, strings, Pickups, amps Speakers, cabinets, ETC, ETC, ETC... That is what we share... Like I said before, it's like We all like Ice Cream (the passion for tone), and the Flavors are a matter of taste!

There Is No Right Or Wrong!

I've been dialing in the Amp with Tubes Both Power and Pre-Amp, and Bias Settings, etc to get it right where I want it. and DAVE has been Great with advice on that!

The Blackie Is Perfect I'm just going to replace the Ceramic Cab on the Tone Control with a NOS Sprague Vitamin Q Military Paper In Oil That I snagged... That will just add a little more Mojo to the tone!

Thanks To Everyone for the Great comments, I enjoyed reading everyone one, and I will try and get clips up as soon as I can.

BTW, get rid of the silver/gold on the logo...it annoys me. It should be solid white ;) :D
