I got the combo in a trade for a low tier Ibanez Prestige that had been around for a bit that I never really used that I bought for $500 a few years ago.
The amp is actually petty impressive. the low end is pretty decent even when you crank it up, fantastic cleans, you can keep them nice and crystal clean to a decent volume which is nice. it has a nice and aggressive bite to it. I also like that the loop is switchable.
I have not tried boosting it yet but I don't feel that it 100% needs one to stay tight. I have no use for the variable wattage so that's null for my use. it will be a nice amp to pick up and haul around, good enough for a rehearsal or jam from a volume perspective (if covid ever ends).
I REALLY feel that the t75 is holding it back. curious to see what you recommend to toss in there. it has newer power tubes, but I will throw some preamp tubes in it as well. open to ideas there too.
so I like the amp. need speaker recommendation/any tips welcome. Will try to get you all a clip tomorrow.
