Custom ordered through Lynn Burke at Blues City Music. I love this amp!! Sounds similar to my SLO but has a different and "thicker" flavor with a certain "silky-ness" to it. I'm liking it better than my SLO right now. :rock:

Custom Options:
* Extra Gain switch
* Footswitchable 2nd Master Volume
* 1/2 Power Switch
* Effects Loop
* SLO Grills

:lol: :LOL: Nuthin' better than a new Soldano in the desert!

Most happy I've been with a NEW amp in a long time! :thumbsup: I've gone thru a few different ones lately...and this one is special!

Nice Bryan. Does it have the SLO PT/OT in it?

Mike and Bill have been busy in the Soldano Custom Shop. Here's my new Dual Overdrive SLO Custom that I had built a few months ago and it is a bad-ass SLO. Also, came through Lynn at BCM. No, clean/crunch, but two OD channels are voiced a little differently, switchable, a depth mod and an FX loop bypass. This head cuts like a knife and plays with authority. After I got this, the other SLO's flew the coop. I pulled two of my Mesa Recto cabs out of storage and loaded them with V30's x 65's.

I got mine made with the older "Marvel" transformers. I like those the best!

Real nice, so maybe I missed it in your post is that an avenger. I'm not playing my SLO much lately as I'm to blown away by the xtc I bought from you. I liked it initially and then decided I liked my Uberschall better and would eventually sell it, but now after retweaking the blue and red channels continuously this is my favorite amp ever. It's not going anywhere.

Incredible amp. I've always wanted a slo, is this an avenger? I never knew you could order one with 2 different od's, drool....

Pure awesomeness!!!! Both you and Steve have me drooling over here.

Yep, it's an Avenger with my kitchen sink of mods that I prefer. Turned out better than expected and I'm loving the tones!! My next Soldano amp may be a custom Soldano 44 with a CLEAN/Crunch switch in a small head (no 1x12)...head only like an Astroverb.

Sweet!!!

So it has a loop added and s switchable 2nd Master... what is the switch next to the Gain control?

That switch was my idea. It's changes a resistor value on the board and adds more gain. I was talking to Bill (at Soldano) last year about a mod that would add more gain to an Avenger....he told me about a mod (piggy back resistor) on one of the stock resistors. I tried it with an older Avenger and it worked pretty well. So I had them make it switchable to add more gain to the circuit. It's actually too subtle right now so I need to change the resistor value to bump it up a little more.

...don't get me wrong, the stock Avenger has about the same gain as an SLO. I just wanted a little more for some heavier stuff. :rock:
