They are at the top of the heap for me. I've considered selling my MCII strictly because it kills me to have this much cash wrapped up in one amp, but it's so worth it. Nothing I have or have had sounds nor feels like it. Can't say it's the best amp ever, because the Uber rev blue and MW Recto I have, as well as many others, hang with it NO PROBLEM and are equally unique and awesome, but the Wizard pounds you in a way others do not, all while being one of the most articulate amps I've ever played. It's also the best low volume tone that I have ever experienced period. Gets cranked tone/girth/feel at ear safe volumes.

Nice!! Always good to have a Wizard around. Does this one have any bright controls on the back & if so where are you setting it for your lead channel?

It does have a lead bright on the back. I have it set to 1 o clock.
My Friedman cab has 15’s on the bottom so it likes a little more topend.

Found something amazing out today.
I felt this amp had something special about it. It does sound better than the other wiz I tried.
I was doing a little research and stumbled upon the original owners listing of this wizard.
He ordered it in 2016 to be voiced like James Hetfields MC1.
BADASS!!! This makes me even more stoked for this amp.
I was playing some tallica riffs today, with my esp loaded with EMG hetset, through the WIZ.
Got lost, sounded so damn good, and just like some Metallica.

Weird. I felt like something was calling me to this amp. I’ve never jumped on an amp this quick TBH.

No external boost. Just the “boost” feature on the lead channel.
I honestly think the Hetfield “mod” is what makes it sound so badass
