Yowza. What an amp. Love it right off the bat.
I had a 50w MC. It went to a great new home here in the Dallas area, LPmojoGL (he’s on here also).
I got Ozz’s minty fresh 2018 MCII. First off, super great transaction.
Easiest deal ever, Wizard of Ozz was super detailed and prompt.
Packed amazingly well. Double boxed, with foam surrounding the amp in the factory box, then that box has foam around it, inside another box. That’s the way it’s done!
The amp came in yesterday, super mint, looking like new, and sounding even better.
This amp has tons of snarl and bite. Very percussive and tight.
So much punch and articulation. You can hear all your nuances for sure.
Really liking the wizards ive tried.
Here’s a pic and quick clip.
Don’t hate, I was cold and took the first take. But didn’t have a lot of time yesterday while my kids were out of the house. With an iPhone but I’ll have some torpedo studio clips up soon.

Ps:
The NAD wizard strikes again hahaha lol   :hys:

So damn nice. The red definitely pops in the room as well, Lol.

Thanks dude! It def sticks out like a sore thumb, haha.
It’s a wild color, a throwback to the old Marshall’s.

Appreciate it bro!

Suuuhhwweeeeettt.
:rawk: :rawk: :rawk:

And that’s how a Wizard MC2 sounds kids. Really mean and tight. And as y’all can see it definitely does metal. So glad you are enjoying it. Really killer sounding amp.

Enjoy it.

Looks and sounds awesome! Congrats Brandon!

Now all the more reason to get that Fryette cab. The Wizards sound great with the Fane speakers and the front-load makes it even tighter. ;)

Nice.... can you play some classic rock thru this amp.....like to hear some

Thanks Matt. I actually bought a vht Ken Susi cab on my torpedo studio, it does sound super tight and perfect with my deliverance. The cab is a 6x12, it’s the fb 4x12 on bottom with a open back 2x12 on top. Sounds awesome.
Prob gonna get the Fryette cab if I can move a couple of mine.

***I also just got these cool little black foam pads cut to size at Office Depot. I updated the pic, looks a lot better now without my makeshift towel, to protect the minty cab.

Haha, I think I know an ac/dc tune or two. I’ll get something the next time I can play at volume. I’ll play it with a standard tuned guitar- with a jb in the bridge

Sounds mean as fuck.

Thanks, it’s dialed in aggressive. But the voicing is badass to start with.

Yes indeed, Im glad I took the chance on it. Great amp!

Sounds great man! One of the better vids of the Wizard tone that I've heard that actually do it some justice with the heavies!

Awesome! Sounds killer, and that amp punches like none other, well maybe my C+ Coli would give it a good run.

Funny story, when I had the 100w MC I was only able to get to around 4-5 on the master. The light fixture fell partially apart....luckily the bed is underneath it so I was able to salvage it and repair the light...
After that 2-3 was enough..lol

Man that sounds thick, juicy, lean and mean all at the same time. Really like the percussive knock it has on the attack.
Congrats!

So does it literally sound like a boosted marshall ? Sorry as i hear many comments stating the Wizards are like boosted Marshall, maybe with better more tighter lowend to it? Just wanna find out more on wizard as i am also very interested in getting one... :)

AC/DC and Metallica, please!

Those are the two bands that come to mind when I think of Wizard amps.

Well, and the Pretty Reckless too
