Here's the thread for my NAMM vids. Didn't have but a day there so not as many as last year but got some good ones AND I was able to mic amps so audio is pretty good for NAMM coverage.

Fortin Cali Playthrough: w/Jason "Killertone" Frankhouser

Solar Guitars SInglecut, and a little of the new Whitechapel sig pedal at the end

Hiwatt Super-Hi:
Reverend Guitars Tele type... not sure of the model. Playing starts at about 1:30 in, before that is the amp overview

KSR Ceres 3 Channel Preamp:
Used a Kiesel Multi-Scale guitar

Diamond Amplification: F4
Using one of the Diamond Renegade ST Plus guitars, This was kind of done on the fly hence me being 89.6%out of the damn frame! LOL!

Revv: D20
Decent run-through of this sweet new Revv and that uses full Two Notes Virtual Cabs. All audio is run direct into my Zoom Q8 from the DI put on the head. You can use 2 mics, compression/eq/verb/etc from Torpedo Remote and save a ton of settings to the amp. Choose your favorite 6 on the front control or a ton with midi.

Here are some pics

Finally met Ola in person. Nice dude.

Cool stuff man!!
I was listening thru a phone but could hear the difference when Jason was making the changes.
Positive it was much more prominent in room.

that does sound badass. And great playing too man!!

Thanks guys. More vids coming. This amp was really impressive. Lots of features and seems like it will be priced fairly relative to other Fortins and whatnot. Was AWESOME to me Killertone. What a chill dude. Nice to meet people in person that you’ve eKnown for years.

That Solar was a pretty sweet player too. I played a few of them and they were solid.

Thanks for the demo and rundown. Any chance getting an 'approximate' street price on the Cali? Cheers

Cheers jer. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to the rest of your vids.

I have the Solar S1.6 LTD in the blue and it makes me smile every time I pick it up. I got number 1 out of a 100. At $1000 it was a steal in my opinion. Stainless frets, hipshot, luminlays, and locking tuners. You really cant beat it for the price and quality build.

Killer sounding amp, for sure. It'll probably be $3-$4,000, I bet.

Poor Killertone sounded like he was dying.

The amp sounds amazing. Great playing JerEvil!

Right when I was pretty happy with my current line up of amps   Nice job on the vid dude!

Which did you prefer ?
Tough one. While at NAMM, the Cali BUT caveat being if I had a guitar with more modern set of pickups it would have a closer call. The Cali is absolutely sick. The Super-Hi was super punchy in person. Super-Hi is definitely more Classic feeling overall.
