How's it sounding so far dude? I'm thinking of ordering a 2x12 (with the 1265/77 combo) if the Granophyre blows my junk off. It's out for delivery. :D
Honestly, the low end is MASSIVE. Like, almost too much! Lol. I am thinking I am not the biggest fan of the DV77 and should have opted for the VM12-65 in all 4 spots instead. The DV77 is really dark, has a big low end and kind of that signature Eminence mid. It's a cool speaker but I just don't love it for my ears.

From what I can tell, the VM12-65 sounds killer and I think 4 of these speakers would tighten the low end and brighten the cab up a good bit for it to be more to my liking. I'll give it some solid time before I make any changes though

How are you liking the Omega and Eminence speaker combo?

I've been thinking of skipping Eminence and doing Mesa V30/C90 or Creambacks.

Fanes are nice too.

here's a demo I did of the cab and head with my thoughts on each speaker:

Overall, really digging the speakers, but I like them more individually. I personally feel the DV77 doesn;t pair great with others as it's a pretty balanced speaker, so when you go to eq for whatever prominent frequencies the speaker it's paired with, you end up taking too much away from the blend, if that makes sense.

Really dig the DV77 on it's own, especially. The VM12-65 is cool as well, but has a little bit too much of that signature eminence voicing for me.

Wow Kyle. Nice.
I much prefer the DV77.

I about to load a Bogner 412 and Eminence told me to do Dv-77 with Governors, not the VM12-65.

That said I also love Celestion Cream backs and I find the DV-77 similar to the Cream back 65.

While I play a lot of heavy music like you, I do a fair amount of classic rock, 80s and 90s with a cover band.

Personally I have never really liked mixing speakers in a cab for just the reasons you mentioned - it makes it harder to EQ the amp especially if you’re trying to mic it up for any reason.

I’ve tried various combinations but always end up going with just one speaker type in the end.
