Marshall 1960AX Delayed Again... thoughts on Friedman 4x12?

I've used V30s (Mesa & Marshall) for years, so I was wanting to try something a little different for my Marshall heads, so decided to order a 1960AX cab loaded with Greenbacks. I'm tempted to just call Sweetwater and cancel the order (been waiting almost a year) and buy a Friedman 4x12. Would the Friedman, being a mix of V30 & Greenbacks, be too similar to my 1960AV? Or would it lean more towards the Greenback side? I guess what I'm after is classic high-gain tones (VH etc) but retain tightness and bottom end.

Yeah I’m not sure what’s up with Marshall. Had a Jube in order for months and it was delayed again so I canceled and got a Ceriatone King Kong instead and I’m so happy I did.

The 1960AX is going for $1259. Before they lowered the price it was just under 2k.
I couldn’t believe that. I know some of it had to do with import fees and all but fucking stupid when I can snag a higher quality Bogner or Friedman cab for $500 less 🤦🏻‍♂️

Bogner cabs, Friedman’s cabs, and many others are all made by the same company BAD owns or is apart of.

Go look on the used market local to you and grab something that tickles your fancy. I do love my AX cab but there are other options.

I bought a new condition 1960BX for $700 locally just out of the lockdown. Still see the AX and BX pop up here and there but not at $700.

In my opinion, get the all Greenback loaded cab over the Friedman. Love Friedman cabs, but you already have the V30 thing covered.
