Finally got the EVH matching cab!!!! Sounds fucking amazing!!!! A huge difference than the recto vertical cab. If you have a Evh 50 watter get this cab you are not going to be disappointed Sorry for the cell picture.

My other guitarist uses one opposite of my Diezel and has zero problems sounding good or cutting in the mix.

I had the chance to crank it a few times and is amazing the amount of thump this set up have. Tons of lowend

These cabs are great, however going from the 4x12 to this 2x12 you have to do some major tweaking but you can get them close to sounding the same. I have been going back and forth on either selling mine or upgrading the speakers to creambacks, I love the small compact size but when it comes down to it I love the way the 4x12 sounds better.

I tend to like this amp better with my mesa vertical which is weird because I don't like this head with my mesa 4x12. The 2x12 vertical cuts a lot of that top end and gives it more mids and to me sounds more like a classic metal sound.

I like the way the mesa cab sounded but this cab is the perfect match for this head. The H30 70 anniversary imo is better for this amp than the v30. V30 are harsh sounding with the evh

I hear you and it cuts better in the mix. I love mesa cabs!!! If i ever buy a Mark series o recto i'm going with the vertical cab
