Need entry level 7 string advice

If I were going to purchase a 7 string right now, it would probably be a Schecter Reaper 7MS. I am highly impressed with the Reaper 6 that I bought a few months ago. It has become the first guitar I reach for. Or I would buy a baritone.

I have that guitar, but a $1000 I'd hardly call it entry level..
The pickups are the same and measure at 9.99K
I think they are Ceramic because they have a lot of mids and have a compressed singing tone on single notes.
The neck is pretty flat and on the thinner side with a constant radius.

I have a Sterling JP70 wth SD pickups and Schecter Demon 7 with Fishman pickups. The Schecter sounds way better, even before the pickup swap. If I was looking for a new 7 I'd check out a multi scale Ibanez because the RGD I have is awesome.
