OK .... folks ..... the end of the poll has come ... Phaser and dual drive are still tied ... so what I'm going to do is ...

run a modified Whetstone Phaser and a Dual drive .... they will be 200 shipped each .... and if you want both I'll knock 50 clams off .. so 350 shipped for the two .

soooooo let's hear some ideas for the Dual drive ... what do you want to stack ??? ..... it will be one into the other ... no flipping order .... and I'll put separate ins and outs for both circuits so you could run them individual ... or have a loop between the two ... and if the loop isn't used the first circuit will run into the second automatically

Once we get 3 or 4 good ideas ... I'll do another poll to see where we are at as far as majority opinion

I suppose this is a high gain forum but every year that passes I notice a couple more pairs of tan pants and Carlos ™️ shoes. It's becoming like TGP except with swearing and insults allowed.

I found these for @BeZo to protect his feet from Phaser rays:

I think my two boosts would be an Echoplex Pre and a Klon. The EP for some subtle color and sizzle, and the Klon for the transparent compression. Two subtle steps or a big jump.
This Waynzo project seems ripe for that modded Klon circuit he recently released with the bass and treble frequency controls.

I like BeZo's idea of an Echoplex Pre and Klon.

Not really a drive, but I've got an old MXR Microamp that is my favorite boost. IIRC, the input on it is 5M, not sure if that has anything to do with it, but it doesn't sound like the new ones.

FWIW, my favorite drive is the Rangemaster. That circuit seems really sensitive to the transistor used.

Now that would be very interesting indeed
I used to have a Hartman Treble Booster Theo had custom EQ'ed for me (mini toggel heh heh) and I foolishly sold it and then Hartman folded up shop a couple years later. The OC44 was pretty smooth sounding but my rig at the time was not ideally geared for it's use. They've become tough to find and locating that particular pedal ain't ever gonna happen....

MXR made a Echoplex Pre and a Microamp into one mini pedal called the Booster Mini. I love that pedal.

speaking of tan camels, none can compete with the grand poobah—-Tommy Lasorda and his magnificent termite head/gray alien/nesting spider/scorpion claw.

How about a booster pedal - something which pushes the amp into overdrive using the level knob - running into an overdrive with tube screamer character?

The klon circuit plays well when stacked with a lot of overdrives. I suggest at least one side be that.

I think Waynzo even has some OC44's in his stash IIRC.
I've done really nice Rangemaster clones ..... they don't sell here ..... mostly cause people don't know how good they can sound .... I personally think they stack better with a fuzz .... they can get extremely gnarly ...
I've got a few OC44's left in my stash ... few other NOS Germaniums also ... including some black hats from the early 70's ... I can do real deal tone benders and the like .... just no one in here wants one ...

has an OC76 laying next to it ... getting ready to install .... all Axial Vishay caps .... old school carbon comp resistors .... charge pump that flips the voltage so you don't need a special cord to run it ...

The Klon is great for stacking when in the 2nd position .... don't get me wrong it sounds good in front of certain drives .... but the way the klon works is ideal for stacking when it's 2nd .... because you have a separate clean signal and overdriven signal .... what ever you put in front is run parallel to the overdriven signal .....

my vote would be for a double klon ....
