I've never listened to any Ace stuff before. Sounds like he's really drunk or just got off a full shift of construction then recorded vocals while tired. Is that normal for his stuff?
Hey!!! What are you doing here??? LOL!guitarbilly74":ed6ag0ga said:The production is not great but the song and solo are classic Ace for sure.

Yeah ALIVE! and Hotter Than Hell were my first two albums when I was a kid. I was a KISS fan from the first time I heard them.Mailman1971":2rxbp9gi said:Ace is the reason I picked up a guitar.

Back around 1977 or so.

KISS ALIVE was the first album I've ever got, at age 4. It made me want to play guitar and I spent pretty much my whole childhood staring at the cover and thinking one day I'd have a guitar like Ace's.Mailman1971":3bsglnn3 said:Ace is the reason I picked up a guitar.

I had a 72 of Don Kirshner Presents that had Iron Man, Hocus Pocus, Layla and Rock On (David Essex). A bunch of other stuff too but it was a great compilation record.Tronald Dump":2ytl1ccc said:chadprsman":2ytl1ccc said:I play guitar because of Ace, brought a 45 vinyl home (look it up) of Dr. Love. My first album was one of those K-tel compilations. The three songs I remember: Kiss-Christine Sixteen, Firefall-Just Remember I love You, Meco-Theme from Star Wars.
My local radio stations would not play Kiss except for Beth.
