Check out charvel.com .i pre ordered the SoCal model in Candy Tangerine at Matts Music.i cant f'in wait ,they wont be out until July 15

Awesome! Not sure if I care for the colors. Hopefully they'll have more options.

Those look like a good deal.
It would cost you roughly the same to put together a Musikraft or Warmoth guitar. Wonder if the quality is similar.

Man, I love Style 2 - Tele with floyd, but I can't stand Maple fingerboards - I'm bummed

Can't stand maple fingerboards? How did Eddie, Lynch and Demartini ever survive with those crappy fingerboards?

I have not canceled my reserve for the So-Cal yet, not sure if I want this guitar or not

Man I want the Tele one! I wish they had that in Tangerine :(

ha ha, I know it's my problem! Every time I play a maple fingerboard and start sweating, my left hand gets sticky on the fingerboard and I can't smoothly shift up and down. I actually love the sound of maple fingerboards, just can't get past my sticky problem. I've even tried unfinished necks too, still have the same problem

You got to try my Suhr out then next weekend! You would probably make it sound 10000000000x better than I can make it sound   I can't stand necks that get sticky, but this thing has light Satin Finish and is so easy to play

I've bought 3 or 4 maple neck guitars - I never know there's a problem until I get onstage and start sweating - don't know if any of them were satin finish. I've never played a Suhr, looking forward to playing all the nice equipment next week!

maple neck hot rodded strats rule

I want one, but the best price I've been able to find online was $949. *!* Kinda sucky since the retail is $999... what pricing are you guys getting and where?

$949 shipped is the lowest I have found from Matt's Music

$999.....not sure about the shipping yet with gig bag for the So-Cal burnt Orange. I am still thinking about getting it or not but I do have a deposit on it.

Guys, this isn't the typical deal on these amps with a "retail" price that is absolutely worthless. My Jackson rep told me that retail price is $999 and street price is supposed to be $999. The dealer cost on these doesn't support selling them for the typical 25-40% off. If you find them for $949 you're doing ok on them.

You just have to look at it almost like Carvin. There is no fake inflated retail price on these that you can bargain your dealer down to $949 from. If you want one of these guitars they're $949. It's easy and none of the always enjoyable Guitar Center "I have to go ask my manager" nonsense.

I mean what's the difference? They're worth $949 easy if a USA standard strat costs that amount. Should Jackson list them at $1799 so you'll be happy paying the same $949 that you don't want to pay if they're listed at $999?

It's just some new deal. I'm trying to talk my rep into letting us carry them but it hasn't worked yet.

Kinda sucks that they only come with a gig bag. They don't have to include one of the real nice G&G cases, but some form of hard case would have been nice.
