why the Baron name?
 
I don't own any Bogners. The Baron XTC is Baron Custom Amps's Dave Woodhouse's take on the Ecstasy. It is not a clone of the amp, but more of an interpretation. The looks are pretty close, though :D

The one above it is a Baron K2. I get the logo plate in a week or two.

That sounds killer! I saw his site a while back and his prices are excellent. What does he charge for his XTC?

Sounds great, but it kind of has that typical modern metal/core tone that so many amps seem to be able to pull off these days.
I think a lot of players would be convinced if you told them that clip was actually courtesy of your Mesa Rectifier, 5150 or 5150 II.

It does everything. As soon as I get some more DIs or have some time to play it more, I will record more clips.

Yes sir, it is boosted, and through a Mesa 4x12. It's really a metal setup but, this "XTC interpretation" doesn't sound anything like any of those amps really. It has a fullness and a usable mid knob ;)

I'm just showing the versatility of the amplifier.
 
Where the hell do i find one of these? I want one bad!

I was thinking about ordering a baron if i ever decide to sell my Mark IV and tremoverb stack. they seem really nice.
