Love it!!!
Looks like me and my buddies when we jam.

We have been doing this for over 10 years. At one point we had a big bus and ran up and down the east coast entertaining millions of fans.  Hair Force 1 is what we call ourselves. We were Steel Panther before it was cool. Hahaha!!

Cool man!!
I havent played outside of my garage in over 10 years.
Its fine. I like to goof off...drink... and bullshit too much between songs.
Dont think the crowd would care for that.

Our drummer, Hugh G. Rection is the smallest guy in the band at 5'11" and 190 lbs. We aren't little guys, that's for sure.

We may be in the New England area this summer for the Laconia bike rally. *fingers crossed*

Fantastic! Great to see some others here doing the tribute thing.

I am 100% a product of 80s rock, but I was one of those guys who never in a million years would ever consider "selling out" to be in a cheesy tribute band.

That all changed last year. I was hired by a tribute act doing 4 different genres: 1) Country, 2) 80s pop, 3) 70s funk & disco, 4) 80s hair metal. All in one show. We take a 20min break between each set, change costumes and "become" the next act.

It's the most fun I've ever had in a band. For once, I'm in a band that has no shortage of bookings. We play some huge shows (outdoor, corporate, casinos, etc.). I get to play to hundreds or thousands instead of dozens or less. The money is amazing. It's a win just about every way you slice it.

Not to mention the fun I have procuring all the gear I think I need to cover all of those bases.

Anyone else here doing the Hair Force One thing?

from PA right?

Yep. Altoona, Pa to be exact. I'm from Johnstown though. They don't hold it against me.

Mel, love the name, looks like fun.

Kevin11, that sounds like a great concept, especially since it pays well and draws a good crowd.
