And some say there wasn't any good bands from the 90's...... what a bunch of bullshit.

I heard this yesterday. I'm not loving the single but I'm looking forward to this album. Albatross was great!

Sounds great to me. A bit more 80s style production on this one than Albatross. Ian was definitely channeling some Bowie era SRV for the solo section. I'm definitely looking forward to the full album.

It's ok - like the overall writing, but wish it had more energy, was edgier.

I feel the same way. It comes off a bit flat on first listen until the solo section kicks in.

I'm digging it. I'm a huge Big Wreck fan. They rule no matter what decade they came from. Remember, they weren't popular in the 90's because all the 1 chord hacks got the attention. :D

HUGE fan and I love the single, think it's great !!
Lots of Suhr tone on the new album ;)

Meh......."The Oaf" and "That Song" charted pretty nicely at number 9 and 32 respectively.

I was hearing them on regular rotation on the radio in Nashville back then.

That album came and went without much notice. I saw them at a club with maybe 50 people in the audience. They sounded like a Led Zep influenced band not a punk or alternative band which was getting all the attention in the 90's.

I love their first album but since the 90's sucked they played clubs instead of the stadiums that they deserved to be playing.

LOL!
And that son....is why the public ran from 80's music into anything that was a big change...thus 90's grunge.

Yep! What's even funnier is some the 90's haters say all the 90's bands were just modern versions of punk bands... yeah whatever as if they all sounded like Green Day. There were more bands in 90's that had more in common with Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Cream, Motorhead etc than any punk bands. I'm not saying there wasn't punk influences but they were not just punk influenced.

I'm a huge BW fan seen them a ton of times but I'm hating the new single
I'm sure there will be some gems on the album tho :)
I;m really interested because this is the fastest they have ever followed up an album so will be interesting (even tho they split :/)

Ian has said they got to make the record exactly as they wanted. So there should be some heavier/edgier songs on there & all will be revealed June 10.

Gonna be a long coupla months...

The more I've listened to this track, the more I like it. One of the things I have always like about BW is their diversity. Ian is a brilliant song writer. I also have enjoyed that he has started cutting loose with his seriously wicked guitar skills lately.

Keeps saying not available in your country...even on YouTube, WTF?!

And the 80's had more than just Poison and Warrant and all the other LA cock bands. IMHO most of the best hard rock and metal albums of all time were from that period. There was a point in the 90's that every new band sounded like fucking Breakfast At Tiffany's and some of the nu-metal that afterwards was a welcome change to the grunge guys that went gay.

But shall we enjoy the new Big Wreck tune and give the decade wars a rest. :D
