I was hearing them on regular rotation on the radio in Nashville back then.
That album came and went without much notice. I saw them at a club with maybe 50 people in the audience. They sounded like a Led Zep influenced band not a punk or alternative band which was getting all the attention in the 90's.
I love their first album but since the 90's sucked they played clubs instead of the stadiums that they deserved to be playing.

And that son....is why the public ran from 80's music into anything that was a big change...thus 90's grunge.

Yep! What's even funnier is some the 90's haters say all the 90's bands were just modern versions of punk bands... yeah whatever as if they all sounded like Green Day. There were more bands in 90's that had more in common with Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Cream, Motorhead etc than any punk bands. I'm not saying there wasn't punk influences but they were not just punk influenced.
