In response to whether the Fortin stuff is hype or not...hell no it's not, these are the best amps I've ever played! Fortin has just got the magic going for him and it just seems to keep getting better! Gotta try 'em all, and so far I've had 2 Cali's, a Meathead, a Bones and who knows what's next? It'll be cool whatever it is!!! Will haves clips perty dang soon!

And, Mike is so cool and pleasant to work with. He can coax the tone out of a Marshall for damn sure. We had been talking about this for a while. I don't want any push-pulls, very little switching options, just balls to the wall and some boosting. But, the circuitry heavily tweaked.
I agree 100% with this. It has been an extemely difficult road for me to get my amps to these guys due me living in the Philippines, working in Afghanistan and a break I took between jobs (had to sit on my money) but I finally got it worked out. Mike Fortin has my Vintage Modern right now and my QuickRod is in Dave Friedmans hands. I cant tell you how excited I am about both. I have read some positive post on the board about Cameron getting through some personal troubles and getting his head back in the game and that is great. If he gets his business tracking on the level of the Fortin and Friedman operations I stand a good chance to own some of his work as well. Thats just good shit there.
