Let me understand this. The people that Mark ripped off should get this very amp that Steve paid for with his hard earned money? Wouldn't that be stealing from Peter to pay Paul?

I agree that Mark should get the guys owed their amps, but they have no right to an amp fully financed by someone else. The "make good" amps need to be financed by Mark, not by new customers.

I thought the big thing with the latest batch was "no money until the amp is complete"? That would imply that either he or his backer had some capitol before Steve K sent him anything. I've read enough of your posts to know that you are smart enough to know what ejecta meant, and he is absolutely right. Not that it matters, because the guys that got fucked aint ever going to see an amp or cash.
It is a fucking shame that on a BBS where a "stolen gear alert" post will have people screaming for a slow death for the thief, a known serial thief is so celebrated. WTF ever happened to integrity?

The first post-LLC Cameron CCV to roll out of Mark's place, landed at mine. Only had a few minutes with it, but Mark nailed it with the current build. Plenty enough gain, and runs very quiet. The new builds are similar to the originals in terms of layout and functionality. Just an awesome amp.

A second was delivered today to someone else. Nice to see Mark back on his feet again and doing what he does best.....making killer amps.

What's with the edge of the chassis on the gut shot where it looks like chunks of metal are missing?

It's to make way for the glory hole that SteveK and Psychodave require in their builds. The order comes as an upgrade which will cost money .... and it demands Marks lips are be on the inside of the amp at the time of insertion when pick up is arranged at the thief's "home". Or you can have a jump in line that always plays well with the nut swingers on forums.....who envy hack guitarists with more money than they have talent.

Unfortunately, special talent buys people 2nd/3rd chances. Not saying it's right.....but just a fact.

Endless examples of actors/athletes/businessmen/artists etc........& yes.....also amp builders!

If Friedman suddenly flaked, didn't deliver amps & kept deposits.........many folks who knew what he did would be there with money ready when he resurfaced......

It sucks to be taken for a ride......but life's too short....do your best to get justice......then move on!

To be taking this out on Steve personally seems really over the top...he didn't steal anyone's money...or their amps. OK to have a hard on for Mark (well deserved) but if offered one at a fair price and knowing I would get it Im not sure I wouldn't take a new CCV. Some of the anger here is seriously misplaced.

I haven't been visiting as much lately but unless I am missing something I think u guys need to take it easy with Steve , he didnt steal from anyone and I honestly don't think it was his intention to rub it in anyone's face who previously had bad deals with mark. I like to see gut shots on new amps when they come out. It's number 1 which is cool to see. I can see being pissed at any of the other previously broken promises by any of the cameron dealings but the issue isn't with Steve .
