Hey Guys,

I have had allot of guys PM Me that they want a CCV but don't have the dough to do it right now. Got an idea but I am not sure if its good or not, you guys tell me?

I sell 35 $100 PPL Gift Raffle tickets. You can buy as many as you want. Once we get to the full 35 entries, I will draw a name from a hat on video and post it up here on the forum and the winner will get a CCV from the first run.

Good Idea? Bad Idea? If you think you would buy a ticket post up so I can get a gauge if there are enough people who want to try to score a CCV for $100 bucks.

If we don't get to the 35 entries you get a full refund. Seems simple enough.

a 1 in 35 chance of winning is better than anything in a casino. i might do it.

Sounds neat I'd be in.....I think it should be 1 per person

Just need 35 individuals to buy 1 ticket. Could keep it one ticket 1 person for 2 weeks and after that open it up to multiple tickets if it doesn't sell out.

how about 350 tickets at $10. :D

I don't think anyone would pass that up. There are over 9,000 members here alone then count all the other guitar forums as they get word of it. I'd be willing to bet the odds of 350 people risking $10 on a $3500 amp are greater than 35 willing to risk $100 even with better odds of winning.

Plus this actually opens it up to some young kid who would really cherish the amp that he would never be able to afford otherwise.

would that person be able to sell the ccv at their own leisure or would there be a return requirement?

Too hard for me to keep track of 350 dudes and I dont have a hat that big...

1 per person once per week! This is a great way to get them out there without a loss on your end, it also gives guys who may never be able to afford one a shot! Cool idea.

Anybody who buys anything from me can drop it off a bridge the next day if they like.  Once they buy it from me its their property to do what they want with it at their own leisure.

Sounds Cool, I'll take 35 Tickets.....
 Oh wait, I........
Sounds Decent, or 350 people at $10/ticket
I'll take 350 tickets  Oh wait....

I can only administrate 35 guys and don't want it to go on forever. ;)

I just realized I voted "no" by accident. There should be one more "yes" vote.

You guys might not understand what that would mean on my end. I would have 350 guys pm'ing me about the auction, hell I would pay $10,000 just not to have to answer all the PM's.

35 is enough, I am just trying to offer a chance to somebody who wouldn't be able to get an amp.
