Wow.. how is that not legal.. considered online gambling?

Yes. Though I see builders do it all the time - but for charity.

no thats what it is until the builder says it`s not and everyone believes it. I can buy all the parts to build a 100 watt plexi at wholesale prices for less than 600

Bro,

I know your a known bomb thrower who I keep around against my better judgement but get your facts straight if your going to post up like you have a clue.

So you can buy a mess of whatever cheap parts on the internet for $600 and do it yourself and build a home made amp. You are not building what were making with the parts we have and the features we have paid to design in for $600 or $1000 and with a design that is sought after and has a following.

If it was easy everyone would do it. This particular venture is anything but easy but will be worth it in the end. I am usually pretty fair minded with my users but you sir, are clueless. :aww:

As someone who is bringing an amp to market himself, I can guarantee you that you are wrong in the case of this amp and most other channel switchers. The transformers in the CCV are more than $500 in bulk. There is no way the parts of a CCV or my amp can be bought for anywhere near a grand. Nice try though...

Steve

Steve,

Lynch said he dug your amp. Would love to hear it sometime.

Upon further review "pickup" is thrown out of my house. He attacks everyone in all of his posts. You guys know I dont ban many people but he qualifies. Gone.

I played Steve's amp a couple of weeks ago. That thing is the most Marshally sounding modded Marshall I have ever played. If that's what buying a Jose mod back in the day was like I am kicking myself for not getting one 25 years ago. I was too stupid and too hooked on the Furman PQ3's robo gain. Steve's amp tone is way better than what I had back then. It cleaned up beautifully with just the volume knob. The plexi tones were stellar. and the modded plexi tones were perfect. Ah, dang it Brad, now you have me thinking about Steve's amp again

Freaking Steve...... IMO the guy knocked it out of the park on his first try.

I just western unioned my money to mark for 7 tickets, keep your fingers crossed!! No seriously, I would do it as long as its done officially with no funny business.

Sometimes this place is like a henhouse. Knitting circle. Women...

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I do love my fellow RT'ers. This place is all good.

Too bad about the raffle, I was reading it in interest as I thought the odds were damn good.

So it goes.
