New CL scam??

i've seen my share of scammers but this is new, to me anyways.

got an email asking to by my guitar (for sale on CL). Ship it COD (out of state mind you), and in return they'd pay the postmaster w/ money order. Even willing to pay extra to ship it in a case.

i've gotten the certified cashiers check offer before, but not the COD/Postmaster money order.

BTW, a buddy of mines kid fell for the cashiers check scam...

Anytime someone is willing to pay more for something it’s most likely a scam

wasn't asking if it was a scam...trying to inform the group of what i considered to be a new scam (?), or not the same old scam, as it was a new scam to me.

but yes, I knew it was a scam...even played along with the scammer for a while... then i became bored so i moved on to other productive things, like shit-taking

Hell no. CL is strictly cash and carry, face to face sales. Anything else, is just begging to take it straight up the pooper sans lube.
