it should have had the mid 70's Ibanez destroyer hockey stick headstock that would have been a winner for sure.

Are you kidding' me guys? That is authentic to how Ed had the guitar set up for the '80 tour - it is a Danelectro style headstock. Ed put a Danelectro neck on that star for that tour. This is awesome!!!

The first thing I thought when I saw the picture was "cool, they got the headstock right". Aesthetically that headstock was never my favorite, but it's a cool piece of Eddie history nevertheless which is obviously the basic appeal.
