Was a freebie 'try this out kinda thing' on a different forum just before the NAMM show......ordered one and dude sent me four. Keep an eye out, he does this every once in a while.

I just received mine in the mail, It is a great guitar pick. I like it better than my jazz III's and Dunlop sharps. Great pick!
 
I got the 1.5mm Classic Mini, and I'm trying to decide how much I like it. I seem to have better attack and better pick slides at the moment. Still debating if I'm going to switch from Jazz IIIs to this. Definitely a solid pick, that's for sure.

The Classic .75mm is my new favorite. I took it into a store that stocks V picks and compared. They are very similar but I think I may spring for a box of Classics. I'm totally sold on them. :yes:
 
I decided to give gravity picks the business vs asking for a free one. The website did not state how many were in the order. I placed an order for $4.99 plus $3 shipping. Total of $7.99. I received one pick in the color I ordered...and one free in another color i didn't order. So 2 picks for $8.00. I clarified via email that I received the right amount.
I'm not mad. I'm not complaining. I did not ask before ordering how many I would get.

I AM NOT bashing gravity picks at all. I really like the picks. I just can't afford that price as i tend to lose too many of them.
I am only giving a heads up so no one else will be confused like I was.
These are good feeling and good sounding picks. Acrylic must be expensive but it is an awesome pick ! Chris is prompt with responding to emails etc...and ships the order fast.
 
I got mine as well. I am still trying them out, I am a V-Pick user, and Jazz III guy. I like them, just thicker than I am used to, but getting more used to them the more I use it. I will order a few others to try them out, and to give him some business. very cool of him to do this.

That's what ultimately lead me to stick with Jazz III picks. They're cheap and easy to come by.
 
I tried one from Gravity and 6 now over the years from V-Pick and....I'm sticking with Max Grip Jazz IIIs in red.

Yes. Frampton uses the red ones! :lol: :LOL:

I use the clearish Ultex Jazz III's and recently saw that they have black ones also. I went to Dunlops site and found that the black ones were thicker. Maybe that is the case with the regular ones as well.
 
I had a classic mini in red show up today. Very close in size to a Ultex Jazz III. The shoulders are very slightly wider and the top of the mini is slightly flatter. I was surprised how that tiny bit of size difference made the mini feel in comparison.

So far I like it. I will plug in tonight to see if I can hear a difference but the mini feels better in my fingers compared to the Ultex.

Yeah, they are hand made. If you shop around you will find picks,gravity, pretty much all the acrylic ones are 4-5 bucks a pop....then u have red bear which is 20 bucks a pick!!!! (and my buddy bought one and it was destroyed in just 2 gigs) so in the grand scheme of "boutique" picks 5 bux isn too bad for one that will pretty much last until you lose it.

I sent an email about the .75mm Classic Mini. I've been playing .60mm Dunlop Tortexes for a while now and I'm looking forward to trying out this new acrylic pick.

I think I'm in the minority here, but I've never liked thick picks :dunno:

No, I'm definitely with you. I use .60mm Dunlop nylons for electric almost exclusively.

Do they make lighter gauges of acrylic (if possible), or only the 1-3mm ridicu-picks? I'd give 'em a try at least.
