Ok guys... time for me to end the wild speculation on the source of this clip... :D

The player and writer on this clip IS my friend George, however, while Mr. Lynch DID play my original PlexRod prototype, this guy's last name is NOT Lynch. His name is George Alayon and he actually posts here under the moniker eljodon. Some of you guys might remember the incredible clips he did of his cover band playing "Highway Star" and also the short pieces he writes for television.

Anyway, George is doing several more clips for me in different styles (most of which will be reamped from existing things he's done) and I asked him to write something "Lynch-like" for the folks that dig that style and he was like, "Sure man! I can do that!" George has a really uncanny ability to capture the essence of a particular player/style and when I heard this finished clip, I decided to post it and let the playing/writing stand for itself and see how people would react... Obviously, based on the feedback here, he did an incredible job.

And yes... I did have a bit of fun with the fact that his first name is George... but as you can clearly see, I never confirmed that it was Lynch ;)

I'm really glad so many of you dug the clip!

Steve

Thank you Steve, I appreciate your complement! I really had to dig deep into my past to pull off G.Lynch. He's style is totally different than mine! I've been away from RT for awhile because I've been busy working in my studio! I really enjoyed your Amp! It's a gain monster and a work of art! You're a genius!!

Thanks, George! You did a great job and I'm looking forward to the rest of the clips you're working on as well - they'll certainly show different sides of the Cherry Bomb!

Damn - that thing sounds great!
Cool Lynch-ish vibe as well

Listened to it again...
I think "George"...played Lynch ....better then George...
Make sense?

That clip really drew me in....so killer...tone...playing....
Very nice!!

Sounded great...there is absolutely no reason that anybody looking for classic hot-rodded Marshall tone shouldn't be looking into this amp.

I love the Density knob! When I first got the amp, I told Steve that the amp lacked low end, but like and idiot I didn't realize that the Density knob works backwards! Once I got it straight the amp had this low end clean chunk, giving my speakers quite the workout! Steve most have thought I was crazy! LOL!

LOL! I think the Density knob works as expected, but I can re-wire it backwards for anyone who sees it like George. ;)

I thought the NAMM clips of Curt were great. Glad to see follow up clips and also that they are great!

Aside for the cool tone, great looks... For a small builder to bud out of pocket and sell from his stock so you can have quick delivery is unheard of. Pretty amazing..

Great job on the amp and I look forward to more clips. And anything but Cookie Monster would be most awesome.

Sounded great!! He really nailed the Lynch feel and phrasing. I can't wait to hear who else he can pay tribute to. The amp sounds amazing. Great work.
