It's been fun being back playing stuff other than slide (although the botox is starting to wear off now a bit
Doc says a bigger dose next time should fix that!
) and lately I've been doing some heavier rhythm stuff for fun and playing my Jackson CS RR 1.5...
Now..., I love my Jackson CS RR 1.5 that I got from The Music Zoo, but it sucks to play it sitting down - you can do it, but it isn't comfortable for a long session and the upper fret access is tough even for a guy with long fingers. I decided to get a Jackson CS that would be easier to play sitting down for when I want to do (didn't want a Soloist super strat kinda thing) that so I grabbed this Custom Shop KE2 Kelly. Not a big fan of abalone inlays, but everything else was right, so I went for it. It has a Steve's Special in the bridge and a Air Norton in the neck. Not too sure about these pickups yet - the Steve's Special is real scooped and bass heavy, but otherwise loving this guitar. Dream to play... Kinda Schenker-ish, no?:
Oh, and here is my RR 1.5. Don't think I ever posted any of my own pics of it:
