How difficult is it to setup these units so they sync with each other?
Easy, they're designed to be expandable and they seemed to have thought all this stuff through. Going to take me ages to wire it up but should be very flexible. 16 amps, 6 cabs, 1 load box, 1 attenuator at the touch of a switch.

That sir is a horrible thought, challenge accepted. Bad pic of a good thing:

More heads and all the combos in another room, but vertical stability was becoming an issue! If I'm judged here for having too many amps I doubt there's anywhere else for me to go, presumably TGP will just ask why they aren't all Swarts.

That is... Great ! Wow ! I'd replace one of the Friedman with a Steavens and the 3 channel Mesa with an old 2 channel Rev G and that would be perfect (for my taste) !

Noted! Funny thing I was never into rectos until I heard this particular triple. Presumably the preamp is the same as the equivalent Dual but this one sounds significantly better than any I tried previously. I don't know the full story but I think it may have been modded to earlier spec.

i dig mine, i have had some weird noise issues, not sure if it's grounding on a particular amp or what, it's really really hard to figure it out when you have 7 or 8 amps running at once,

nice set up though
Yeah always the potential for that, we'll see how it goes. What model do you have?

i have a 4x4fx and 8amp and 8 fx put all together, so it can be a rat's nest, 12x4 total all sharing fx, like it i might say

Yeah I guess once you start incorporating shared FX it get's real complicated. I've just ordered 100 connectors and a few hundred meters of cable, that's gonna be a fun weekend.

that would be more than a weekend for me, but idk, looks like it's going to be a very nice setup

shared fx is cool though, i use a gate, which is helpful, so i don't have to have 8 or whatever of them, just 1, and sharing a delay and chorus makes life easier as well

enjoy the setup, sometimes it's fun i have to admit, tear down and rebuild, i've done it 3 or 4 times, it's silly i have a job, agh

Finished wiring up the system this week. I'm declaring these KHE switchers one of my favourite gear purchases ever, what an absolute joy trying out new combinations is now.

Wizard into to a G12M cab, click - done. XTC into a G12H cab, done. Cameron modded JMP into both, done. Endless fun.

That is absolutely killer! My ocd is going crazy without the recto being on the recto cab and the orange being on the orange cab.

what do you guys do about impedance mismatches? I’ve been thinking about doing something similar, although on a smaller scale, but I have a mix of 8 and 16 ohm cabs.

Ha, I like to live dangerously.

I have a Weber Z-matcher and Tone King Ironman 2 attenuator on hand. Both have selectable input and output impedance, very handy.
