Sounds pretty good to me. I love how 80's the chorus is and the tone is really beefy.

Awesome! I don't care what anyone thinks, I like Killswitch. This sounds great. I loved Times of Grace even though it wasn't officially a Killswitch release.

awesome! KSE is like my trainer- it's my goto for weightlifting, makes me want to punch walls!

Fuckin metal there!!!! Tone sounds kinda like Pantera to me...

I'm the same, great band. Don't love all their releases but they always put out quality albums.

I only like the chorus and yay, a guitar solo. I'm pretty worn out on screamo/growl vocals. If you can sing...SING.

Danyeo, I normally would agree with your statement, but IMO it doesn't apply to KSE! :D They are like the ACDC of modern metal, if that makes any sense. Wouldn't be right if they didn't follow their formula. Jesse does enough clean singing in Seemless anyway. This new KSE is great. I'm SO sick whiney guys "singing" in modern emo/metal. I'd take this scream/manly singing approach any day over most of the shit out there. They are not reinventing the wheel (again) but they don't have to. They are the best at what they do.

I hear you. I also can't stand the typical whiney style, makes me turn off bands on the spot. And yes, KSE sure does stick with their forumula. I guess they learned that lesson from Steel Dragon :D

Overall, it's a lot better than most other crap I hear coming out from the USA.

The music and guitar tone on their last release was awesome.
I grew tired of Howards voice after TEOHE to be honest.

Impressive. Great tone.

As for this "screaming thing," you know, I didn't honestly enjoy it at first either. It is something that you acquire and once you do, it's some really good stuff.

It's definitely KSE... and Im okay with that. Their rhythm section is still tight(not sevendust tight but still good).. and it does get my blood pumpin. Glad to see Jesse healthy and back. I liked Howard but it just seemed 'forced' from the start for me. Jesse's scream to sing is a smoother and better transition imho. Good year for music on the horizon....

-Alice in Chains
-Sevendust
-Alter Bridge
-Tool(maybe)
-the start of the 2yr recording process for Metallica
-Norum(yes, Im eagerly awaiting)
-Dream Theater
-Petrucci
-Black Stone Cherry

.....

Was Framus, then Splawn Nitros, now SLO's. Might have to throw in dual recto at some point as well.

Nope. All heavy guitat tracks were FUCHS viper! I like the sound they ended up with. The rest of the album doesnt reslly sound like the single however. A lot more thrashy
