If we were more of a metal band I'd probably track that song faster right from the get to but.....we're more of a hard rock band and more in favor of a nice groove more than anything else. The groove in the bass guitar and sone overall is really important to us

Thanks it was all recorded and engineered by my bassist in his garage, which is converted into his studio/man cave

I did dial in the guitar settings though

Off the top of my head the gain on the Makoplex was around 11:00 and Dorado like noon.

Low end was near 2:00 on both and Mids were near noon on both....and the Treble was around 1:00 on both.

I dial in their eq's almost identical......

No chorus whatsoever....a tad bit of post compression.....that's it. If there is any slightly chorus sound to it, it's because I didn't move the guitars perfectly in time after I reamped but, I think it's in time lol
