New Mammoth...

I don't care much for the chorus, the lyrics are a little cringe, but the song itself is pretty killer for modern rock. I dig the percussiveness of the rhythm guitar parts, and the solo was pretty slick too.
 
i really want to dig Mammoth, its cool he plays everything as i try and do, but its just eh. i feel like he is just to formulaic, like i knew the "eddy inspired" tapping solo was coming somewhere. lyrics are a bit cringe
 
I don't like the riffs, I don't like the lyrics, I don't like the chorus, I don't like the melody of the verse, or the chorus. I basically think the song sucks. I think Wolfgangs music sucks. But he's on tour and I'm not so........ I do like the guitar tone though. Wolfgang is a cool dude, but he needs to go to riff school. Maybe listen to a little more Thrash.
I'm glad you like the tune OP, so no offense. I'm pretty critical when it comes to music.
 
Even his father need some professional criticism, he seems like someone that just does what he wants.
 
I dig it. May not be a casual listen for me but I like what he’s doing, especially playing all the instruments on the album(s). I totally get the criticisms though.

He did a Coffee with Ola recently and they play some Meshuggah together.
 
Not my favorite from him but I dig it. Being that it’s aimed at the people who rip on the dude constantly, I’d have to imagine the “That fuckin’ kid” line is referencing DLR’s shittalking of him. I’m anxious for the album to come out, kinda following suit with Alter Bridge, there’s tunes that don’t do much for me and then a banger here and there. Hope to see him dig into the prog stuff more on this one.

He said on Coffee With Ola he’d be doing these ‘performance’ videos rather than putting out lyric vids the label wanted him to.
