Congrats! You can cover pretty much any tonal ground you need between that and your 6505+. Great amps.

I'm actually stunned at how versatile the Peavey is. I've never had one and I've always had pricier amps, but the 6505+ cannot be denied. It gets very chimey on the cleans and the heavy stuff is fantastic. GREAT all around amp.
My guys actually like my tone now with the Peavey than all the other amps I've had over the years. It's depressing and encouraging all at the same time!
We're a Trio and the Peavey has this nice low end and the top is slicing. Sounds huge. We actually sound bigger than when we had another guitar player and keyboards.

Now with the MKIV, I'm good.

Nice. How about some clips/vids?

I need an interface.

iPhone/android phone clips will do in the meantime

Maybe I can get a short one Thursday night at practice. I'll be able to crank it up there. I do have one of the newer GoPro's. Do they record audio well? The video is great but I'm not sure about the audio.

What about the loop?

Looks nice n clean man

I knew that was coming. Loop works great!

It's pretty clean. Definitely didn't see much stage time. It will now, but I take care of my stuff so it'll be safe.

Congrats on the mark Iv. I have a mark Iva and notice a tone change with the switchable loop. Which loop are you using, switchable or normal?

For r2 try boosting it with a tubescreamer pedal. Running r2 always with geq is recommended a well.

Hey, I'm going to set the loop up this way this week and get back to you. Haven't forgotten. :D

Another cool way to set up RHY2 is as an alternate clean channel. Takes overdrive pedals very well when set clean! I run my Bogner Red into it sometimes for an alternate lead or heavy rhythm channel.

Congrats Badronald! Sweet rig

Congrats. I had a Mark iv for years and think it's time to get another. The best tone I've ever had was mixing my mk iv and quickrod. Total tonal bliss

Congrats!
Cleans and Leads are indeed among the best evarrr...R2 to me was so-so... The Crunch mode of my Mark V:25 is greatly superior. I sold my Mark IV Rev A after maybe 2 months...
Missing especially the gorgeous cleans of the IV instilled the GAS to get the Mark V:25 actually, with the benefit of having it super-portable. I never intended the Mark IV to become a gigging amp...

If Mesa would release a Mark V:50, big bottles (EL34/6L6), footswitchable fx-loop, 3 channels, under 30lbs, then yes, it could potentially move the 5150III of that illustrous spot.

My favarite Mesa by far. Never owned one but played thru it at GC...

It can't be better than a Blades.

Clips ...plxeez
