NEW single channel MGL "Lead Master Series" amp line coming soon! Single channel 50 or 20 watt amps that will be available in 3 versions: "1981 - 2204", Purple Circuit and Red Circuit. New classic 2204 looking layout. Amps will include a 3-way bright switch on the front, "Zero Loss" FX loop, Saturation circuit and voicing switch. New aluminum chassis is completed and now ready for powder coating and screen printing. Here's a raw aluminum chassis shot from the local metal shop. And the screen print proofs for the front and back panels.

Good timing! I was going to call and ask about a single-channel JMP amp. Those are the amps I grew up with. Had one as soon as they came out, '75/76. Had 50 and mostly 100 watters.
I'm sure they were 6550 loaded.

Cool, classic amps! Some customers still like the simplicity of a single channel but would at least like an FX loop. These will be great for that. Standard version will be with the lower voltage power transformer at around 400v. And there will be an option to use our 100w power transformer like we do in the 2-channel MGL50. That will have around 450v plate voltage like the later 2204's that are more aggressive sounding. With an adjustment in the bias circuit, we could easily do 6550's also.
