That's right kids.

Man, with all good deals being posted on here lately I just couldn't help myself. This was a great way to add to my collection and I want to thank all the users who created the informative threads and provided such good deals. NIKE really does make a good product even though a lot of them are MIV.

Tone wise, it is very light and bouncy. It can handle a lot of compression. It also has just the right amount of reverberation. I also dig the mesh and it matches my main guitar. Great to just grab and go on the run. I do wish it was a bit thicker in the mids. This one is bit brighter than the other one I have which is very dark and good for blues (as you can see by the pic below).

All that said it has a lot of sole!



Now onto the pron.








But they just don't have the brutality of my ADIDAS :lol: :LOL:

Awesome. I've been somewhat bored with most of the gear talk lately and this brings a fresh new perspective. Hopefully a change is afoot.
 
Your toe'n stinks. And your playing sounds like you are using two left feet.

Kinda cool that it matches your splawn, tho.

What kind of socks is everyone using ? I get blisters without socks ?
 
Depends on what type of music you play. I hear spandex are popular.
 
It's important to use matched tube socks only in these nike's.

Matched tube socks is the way to go.
 
Wow! Did you get them broken in from the factory?

I usually use a matched quad of tube socks during heavy use, as doubling up adds thickness. That might help with the mids you perceive to be lacking.
 
The ones with the chains are going to be all.the rage in a couple.of months
