Maple top and the rest is mahogany. It’s the body style they went with after Gibson sued them back then.

My first good guitar was a transparent black Ibanez PF230, 3 pickups gold hardware. Great guitar ! Congrats !

Thanks fellas! Cleaned up pretty good…..here’s the pics of it…Not sure if it will show up or not. Dremel and polish got a lot of crud off the pup covers and bridge. Also the tuners. Gonna gut it and rewire it though. Has the most killer knobs though. I wish I had them on all my fiddles.

Just noticed that neck is three piece and has some flaming…. So how do I lower this bridge? Just use a socket? The bolts look raggedy….

Bolts are broken so you can’t turn them to lower the bridge. I know a way though…
Nuts just cinch it down.

Ok all done. It’s set up and tuned to d standard with 9’s and the action is greasy slick….

Gonna finalize the setup today. Played with the pup heights and going to plug it in and see how it sounds. It was all out of wack and bassy as heck. Trying to find my straight edge to see if I need to tweak the neck. Right now it’s low and slick. No buzz zzz
