Tom bridges are the secret to great tone. The palm mutes on them are just far more sexy..especially on a string through

Nice guitar even though I am not a not a Rhoads fan.
Story maybe true, maybe not. Friend of mine Mark (RIP).
"Living the glorious Sunset Strip life. Waiting to audition one of the last 2 players to audition. Has the option to go first. Said Randy can go first as he thinks to himself I can outplay this guy. Auditions over no more tired of hearing guitar players Randy gets the gig."
Mark said is all about being in the right place at the right time, the right person to hear something. Randy Rhoads becomes somebody Mark is nobody over 1 decision. True Mark was there band (Magic or Simply Magic depends on the day) only trace left of his life in LA is a short band member reference on a DIO page. Very sad incredible player. Very sad about Randy's demise also.
That story was told to me when i was honored with touching his 60's black beauty and stsrted playing crazy train. He said thats not the way Randy played it your doing it wrong.

Sick, nice score man. The way it matches the cab is quite boner inducing.

That’s one AWESOME guitar bro.
I always loved RR
.
Got to meet him when they came through town in ‘82 a few months before his tragic death.
Talked to him for about 30 minutes and got his autograph and later Ozzy’s .
Sat right in front of him up against the stage later that night.
After the encore, he reached down and handed me the only pick he gave out that night.
If you want to buy the pick and the autograph, I’d willing to let them go for an OUTRAGEOUS amount. LOL
Not kidding about the pick and the autographs, but they’re not really for sale.
Again, Congrats on your RR guitar

I also met Randy and also just missed an audition for an upcoming band on the Strip cos he beat me to it.
And in fact, me gave me one of his early guitars just before taking the gig with Ozzy.
And he's my cousin.
Yeah.

That is cool. I was to young for the Strip I met Mark later, He used to tell me all kinds of stories about playing on the Strip and his days as a guitar tech for Iommi. It was the addition for Ozzy he was telling me about.I also met Randy and also just missed an audition for an upcoming band on the Strip cos he beat me to it.

Sick guitar man!
Idk why but my whole life I’ve been into more traditional shapes like the soloist. Lately however I’m really feeling the need for a Rhoads V.
Congrats!
