Forgot how big Avatar cabs are....

It showed up this morning, and I've been playing it pretty much ever since. I'm really loving the IMMEDIACY of it; after being a modeling guy for so long, I'd gotten used to a bit of latency and a bit of touch sensitivity loss, and that stuff doesn't really apply with this thing.
I've messed around with it for a few hours in various configurations. I've run it into a cab and tried different settings, and it pretty much loves all guitars and pedals....
I've boosted it, and used my Telemaster with ReWinds in drop C, my PRS McCarty in standard, a couple LPs in drop D and drop A with PAFs and a BKP Nailbomb. I also hit it with my Charvel with an EVH Wolfgang pickup in standard and my Jackson V with a BKP Warpig in it in drop C. I ran it into this new Avatar cab and it sounded fantastic with V30s, and then into that same cab and the direct out into the input of a little Line6 Spider 30 watt combo for FX at the same time, and it created a massive wall of sound that filled the whole room and that was a good time.
I've also run it into Reaper, with both the onboard cab sim and also using a Fryette 2x12 IR in the Two Notes WOS III plugin. It reacts really well using either, and because all I was running was the cab sim, I was able to kick my sample rate way down so there's zero latency when recording.
All the controls are really nuanced; they all affect each other and the sum total of what you hear.
Deliverance is great for low to mid gain stuff although it can get straight brutal if you want it to...Pittbull has still more gain on tap but the tones are up higher; it's sparklier and brighter. The Clean settings are just haunting and beautiful. Really responsive to volume/tone controls and I've missed that interaction with the sims I've been using.
3rd pic shows all the outputs, which as I said can be used all at once, meaning I can leave my cabs hooked up while leaving a cable attached to my interface for recording.
After all these years, I've realized that what I always really gravitate to is filthy Mesa Rectifier tones and Fryette gain and cleans, so this thing fits me pretty well right now.
I've been a modeling guy for about 4-5 years. That shit is over now, it's nice to be back.
