New SLO100 day!

One trick is to turn the presence all the way up, then start with the treble at 0 and go up to taste. Mine were set that way, mids at 5 and bass at 7. Then the gain was at 5-7, and I boosted the mids with an eq pedal. Killer tone. Lead channel.

Pulled 2 old "Pinnacle" labeled 12AX7's out of an 70's NZ-made amp I have, and chucked them into V2 & V3, softened the sizzle a lot surprisingly.

Sounds like a prelude of diving into the NOS tube rabbit hole somewhere down the line...

This is the same thing I do with my SLO. Presence dimed, bring treble up to taste, and I run a MXR 10 band in the loop to dial things in a bit further. It just does something very cool. Curious if you run your EQ thru the loop or out front. I couldn't get the same results with the MXR out front.

Congratulations! Would love to spend some quality time with an SLO.

good deal v3 is the cold clipping stage try some different tubes
