Just an FYI. Clean channel of the Lucky 13 (hence the name Little Luck), no verb, no loop, under 25 lbs., 50w. That's about all I know.

These are based on the custom amps Mike made for PRINCE. Prince wanted a pedal platform amp. Mike used the Avenger as a basis for his amps.

Looks interesting. But no Loop? Then again Mike isn't very good with loops. Personal I like my compression post gain or right before the power section and volume pedal post gain.

No offense to Mike or the OP, but that's about as lackluster as it gets. Who really wants that?

If it´s just a "clean" amp,
designed to take pedals in front (not my cup of tea),
It does make sense.

Distortion/overdrive will not come from the amp,
an delay or chorus pedals have to be after the overdrive pedal.

I get why a clean amp doesn't really need a loop. I don't get why folks really want a Soldano for a clean amp...

I still like the delay and reverb in the loop when I'm running distortion up front.

Same people who want a Two Rock, Matchless, Carol Ann....cleanish amps that are built well and sound great....if you're into that kind of tone. How about the Friedman BE in front of this? Bet it would sound cool.

Back when I gigged a Lucky 13 combo, I had tons of compliments on the clean tone from the band and the crowd. But I think this new amp will have a little of an uphill fight like the rest of Soldano's non-SLO models.

Says it's gonna be under $1500, they should be able to move some at that price point.

-like the entire soldano line up, there's the SLO, then its like falling off a cliff, nothing of worth, especially at the asking prices.

I think the amps(HR, Avenger etc) are cool...but for what they cost new, I can find a used SLO. Done.

Seems like there are so many options that do what that amp does. And with used amps selling for what they are it just seems like a hard sell. Any association with Prince helps tons though.

I'm waiting to see how much the Bogner telos costs. Foot switchable effects loop. What makes an amp more pedal friendly anyways? (Serious question)

I don't get the controls; "midout"? And the "volume" under preamp and master.
