Is that just a reflection or is the body kinda cut back where the neck plate area is for better upper fret access?

Its also why I got the SS2 over the SS1. The SS1 mimics the charvel body more closely where as the SS2 is a dinky body. They are about the same except the "horns" on the body of the SS2 allow for more access to higher register.
Of course that being said Im already plotting my next purchase...the SS1.
