New Splawn Pedalboard Prototype ...

Um, yes please!!! As I an unashamedly a Splawn fanboy for life, I will definitely be ordering one of these guys!



I emailed Scott Splawn a couple days ago about building me a pedalboard, and inquiring if they never done any. Lo and behold, they shared this on my Facebook wall today.

Well ... it's not really about price. I have an $80 PT Jr. and a Savage board. The Savage is worth about 4x the cost. Price justification is relative to the individual. I take pride in the fact, that even exorbitant in some regards, that I have a lot of hand made gear built by people I have the pleasure of being in direct contact with that is made here in the States.

I just got in on the preorder. Confirmed. Just need to decide what holes to be made on the side. Probably doing the power and 4 for "amp in/out and effects send/return". I don't think he will be installing those. Just providing the holes.

Are having the holes drilled extra, and does he offer other finishes? What's used on top for support? Man I want one, but the thought of ripping down my board and rewiring is causing me serious pause. The boards look badass though, and the price is right. Might have to do it.

Not sure on the holes. He just asked me what ones I wanted. I'll ask about the finishes.

That was quick, he said they are doing them in house, so they can do any size. Gauging interest right now on what will be the most popular. Considering if I should just get the same size I have now, or go large!

This is of interest to me. I'm waiting for the final pics as well. I't be cool if he could do these in matching tolex
