I know a lot of folks can't stand Stryper but I thought this new song had great tone and the solo is killer IMO:

Jesus Christ! I thought the whole song was killer!

Loved it! They have been putting out some great stuff the last few albums. One of my favorites.......................

:rawk:

I've seen this band in concert a bunch of times in the last few years. Fantastic performance and Michael's voice sounds great still

I have always dug Stryper. Great vocals, great riffs, and cool leads. What's not to like for any 80s metalhead?

This a cool tune. On first listen, the intro reminds me A LOT of their 1985 song, "The Rock That Makes Me Roll."

LOVE this album!!!

Micheal Sweet is a serious talent. Dude can play and has some crazy strong pipes for, anyone really,....but for a fifty year old? Holy shit.

And the song cooks. Much heavier than I remember the all-out bumblebee era.

Wow! I think that's the best song I have ever heard from them!

I think I read where Clint Lowry from Sevendust was involved, gotta check it out.

Stryper rocks!

The singer in our band is a huge fan and Michael Sweet is one of his biggest vocal influences...last year he got to open the Stryper show near his home town (performing solo acoustic) and then sang "To Hell With a The a Devil" with them for the encore. A dream come true for him and he confirmed that all the Stryper guys are awesome dudes...

Here's Maurice killing it...

Damn, embedding YouTube is too difficult for my simple brain...lol

Yeah it is pretty badass. Makes me think I can kick satan's ass with nothing more than a guitar and a choir behind me. He does have a frigging great voice though and the solo was rippin. Hey, I guess when you are a "soldier of Jesus" the good lord throws you a bone once in a while and inspires you to write a killer tune.

BTW, I listened to the Lynch Mob tune right after.. what the hell is going on with the loudness wars nowadays. Damn tune was distorting my head phones. The levels are so damned jacked these days. I hate modern production and that digital distortion fizz because the levels are way too pushed!

Yeah that was a kick ass tune!! Still got the tasty Stryper guitar tones. Thanks for posting!

I think I have listened to it over ten times now. What a smokin tune!

Dude I did the same thing when I put up this post. I had to fix it about three times. :)
