Ditched cable when Breaking Bad ended so thanks for the update! Can't wait to catch it on their website! I really dig the show also. It's great to be able to watch a program pertaining to metal music on main stream t.v.. Many complain about the hosts. I think they are great and you can tell they live and breath the stuff. Definitely true fans, can't knock them for that.
I thought Jason Hook sounded really good and believe the live guitar sound was much better than in previous seasons. I'm not too familiar with Jason but I thought he brought it. I realize it was probably a Gibson ad, but I thought it was very cool of him to give his guitar away.

i hate 5fdp but jason played and sounded well.clean and precise.

Zakk Wylde is gracious, funny motherfucker. Just wish his guitar playing would return but I love seeing the guy interviewed etc. Good dude. Jason Hook was great, but I don't think it will get me to buy and Five Finger Double Penetration

Saw Jason on "Counting Cars". He was broke down on the side of the road with his Harley and they stopped to help him and found out who it was lol Seemed like a cool dude.

Jason is a cool guy I met him at mayhem, did the meet and greet and afterword they were just standing there so people could take pic I was in crutches and was trying to get there he saw me and waved me over and asked me if I wanted a pic which he didn't have to, i dig 5FDP but there's not a lot I don't like.

As soon as Jason hit the first few notes I said to myself "easily one of the best tones so far on the show".
Hopefully this new setup they have will make a difference going forward, so they will no longer have the God awful tones of the past seasons.....

I like the interview parts of the show but I could do without the rest of it as if I give two shits about their top 10 lists and asking Eddie stupid questions to see if they can stump him. Also Don Jamison grates on my nerves so bad....... Wolverine called and said "Dude... your side burns look stupid as hell."
And while I'm at it.... Eddie STFU about KISS and the Rock-N-Roll Hall Of Fame and your beef with Gene.
All that said I still watch the show

The show definitely has many failings but it has the advantage of having the only "supply" and we are a large "demand"

Agree about the recommendations of new bands. Not always good but it's hard to find new stuff with the way things are right now.

I like TMS. Not much else hard rock/metal related on TV. I have it recorded so I have not watched the first episode of this new season yet.
