Thanks guys!
I still have other preamps, never owned a Triaxis or Engl (still don't, on the wish list), so this is new territory for me. It seems the Triaxis is similar to the ADA MP-1, many people had them and no longer do. I still have my main ADA MP-2, and the Triaxis is just much clearer and dimensional sounding (from memory, haven't AB'd them yet, as I'm still learning the Triaxis). I was pleasantly surprised by the clean factory presets on the Triaxis...very clean but still some hair/life on the edges; i.e.,. not pristine clean. Digging this 1U box.
I also noticed Mesa is (still?) selling new Triaxis, list price is $1,999! $100 more than the Engl E570 is retailing new. The recent discount codes at MF did not apply to the E570, seems Engl is excluded.
I used rack kit back in the day (prior to that it was tube and SS amps (I had a Sunn Beta Lead)), then moved to tube amps and pedals, but I'm slowly going back to rack, with my G-System controller on the floor...much more versatile and set-up/teardown. Since I'm not in a band these days, I'm seriously considering a single rack with all my preamps, maybe a rack wireless and my G-Sytem rack "brain"...
Not sure if this exists, but I'd like some kind of MIDI switcher that will let me select one of the preamps, and then the preset, and even MIDI CC if supported by the preamp. I'll probably have 6-8 preamps before I'm done...unless new preamps are released.

Does this device exist? In a 1U size? Even better if it can be controlled by my G-System's MIDI. Probably start a new topic on this at some point.
The X2N cleans up nicely with the guitar volume, which is all the Stealth has for control. At full volume and digging in I was able to get a nice snarl and bite breakup using a clean Fender tube amp (my Deco Tone = Custom Shop Blues Jr.)...these amp settings stay clean with my Rics and Casino (P-90s) which are lower output pickups.
