New Yamaha Pacifica models

Suprised Yamaha doesn’t get more love. I really want to try one of those new revstars. Always heard the Pacifica models were killer.

I had a Yamaha Image Deluxe. (Made in the late 80's) They were also known as the MSG series in the UK. Easily one of the top 5 guitars I've ever owned. Had to sell it. Man, I miss that thing. Quality on steroids. Carved maple tops (some of those are flame maple!) The stock pickups were great. If you ever see a Yamaha Image guitar for sale, BUY IT.

To say that these guitars fuck is an understatement. These are in the John Holmes category! LOL They made 3 different models. I wish I had one of each.

They usually sell for around 1200 to 1800 but GC has one for $699 right now. Grab it if you can. If you don't like it, you can flip it and make a nice profit: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Y...-Electric-Guitar.gc?cntry=us&source=4SOS0DRBA

If Yamaha had any sense, they would bring back the Weddington.

+1 on the ugly pickguard....the older Pacificas were good looking guitars......The older RGX line has some badass guitars in there, one of the best neck profiles(thin and fast) I've ever played....faster than the wizard, great playing/looking guitars for cheap, quality built.

Yep. I've owned 2 of them. Had to sell them, dammit. I agree about the necks. Even their inexpensive models are great.

IMO, Yamaha doesn't make crappy products. Ever.

That's one big reason that I love their products.

A friend of mine designed the original WaveRunner Jet Ski when he worked at Yamaha.

They have some really innovative hardware on the model I have....locking nut with a height adjustment for instance...they are great guitars....fast as hell necks!
